Area 6000

Immediatamente a sud della cassa litica USM 6123 è stata completata la messa in luce degli individui USK 6562 e USK 6564, entrambi orientati W-E e deposti in decubito dorsale. In particolare USK 6562 è una femmina matura di 45-50 anni con il cranio molto frammentato ed in apparizione frontale, l'arto superiore destro leggermente flesso lungo il corpo e quello inferiore disteso. La porzione sinistra del corpo è stata intercettata dalla fossa sepolcrale US - 6566, in cui giace USK 6564, di cui si conserva solamente il braccio destro, parte della scapola ed slcune coste dello stesso lato. USK 6564 è infatti intercettato a sua volta, a nord, dalla tomba a cassa litica USM 6123. Nella porzione occidentale del settore è iniziata la rimozione del riempimento US 6561 e l'esposizione dell'individuo sottostante. Nella porzione settentrionale è iniziata la rimozione dell'inumato USK 6567.

The articulated skeleton in the northern quarter was completely removed and the cut was exposed. Photographs were taken, GIS points were taken.

We continued our excavations. We suspect that the remains of the individual body, though we are not yet certain how they are oriented. We also found a small fragment of glass in the same burial. It is clear and somewhat teal in color. Today we excavated the tomb and exposed more of the rocks on the most eastern part of the northern wall. The disarticulated fill bones were removed so photographs could be taken off the progress made on the grave. 

Area 7000

In the morning the team was split up into three groups of two people. One group exposed more the trench on the south, another group exposed the east trench on the south side, and the last group continued working on the furnace throughout the day. The group working on the trench found more teeth possibly belonging to a goat or sheep. Multiple pieces of pottery were also found throughout the site. In the afternoon the team worked on clearly and leveling the bottom part of the east trench in the south.
